Haichen signs contract with Braun Capital to deliver 3GW long-term energy storage

Haichen has finalized a cooperation agreement with Brawn Capital, promising to deliver 3 GW of long-term energy storage (LDES) capacity by 2030, while also advancing a series of other projects.

As an investor in the Asia-Pacific region, this agreement between Brawn Capital and Haichen covers a variety of energy storage systems with different time lengths, and is not a single type of cooperation layout.

long-term energy storage has now become Haichen's key direction. recently, it has reached a similar cooperation with KNESS Group and plans to provide 2 GW of long-term energy storage capacity for the Ukrainian market. Brawn Capital, as a senior investor in the Asia-Pacific renewable energy field, has offices in Hong Kong and Singapore, and is expected to inject local professional resources into the cooperation between the two sides.

Haichen revealed during the cooperation between the official announcement and Brawn Capital that about 20 ultra-high voltage (UHV) projects have entered the preparatory stage, and another 300 MW of energy storage projects are also scheduled to be delivered in 2027.

According to Haichen, the cooperation agreement includes a variety of energy storage system solutions with different time lengths, including the company's recently launched 10-foot "∞ Power" Flexsso 3.125 MW and 6.25MW energy storage systems.

Haichen said that the cooperation with Brawn Capital is a key step in the process of large-scale application of long-term energy storage and expansion of the Asia-Pacific market, which is of great significance to the subsequent business layout.

Before that, Haichen had decided to invest about 0.4 billion euros ($0.458 billion) to build a new battery factory in Spain. In March 2026, Haichen announced the formation of a joint venture with the listed company Sodena to jointly promote the development of the factory, which is expected to be officially put into operation in early 2027.
