A 500 kW/1,044 kWh energy storage project in Baiyun District, Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, has been successfully commissioned and put into operation.

Recently, Zhongke Huachu successfully commissioned a 500 kW/1,044 kWh liquid-cooled energy storage system in Baiyun District, Guangzhou City. The project is currently operating stably, providing a secure, flexible, and high-yield commercial and industrial energy storage solution for a high-end manufacturing company that has been deeply engaged in laser technology applications for many years.

Against the backdrop of continuously rising electricity costs in manufacturing and increasingly stringent grid-operation requirements, balancing power-supply reliability with cost efficiency has become a core concern for enterprises. Zhongke Huachu has, through its highly integrated energy storage system design, established a new energy-use model for clients that ensures long-term operation and sustainable revenue generation.

Grid Stability and Flexible Load Management

This project operates in grid-connected mode, using a power conversion system (PCS) to enable bidirectional energy exchange with the grid. It can flexibly support applications such as peak shaving and valley filling, peak-valley arbitrage, and demand-side management, thereby effectively reducing overall electricity costs for the enterprise while enhancing energy-use reliability and redundancy.

● Highly Integrated Grid-Connection Cabinet Design

A single grid-connection cabinet integrates control, protection, metering, and other functions. The system comes pre-installed and pre-commissioned, resulting in a short on-site deployment period and ready-to-use operation upon installation.

● Intelligent Grid-Connection Control: Safe and Reliable

The system automatically detects the grid’s operating status and, in the event of an abnormality, can trip within seconds to prevent islanding and backfeeding risks.

● End-to-End Security Protection System

By integrating cell temperature monitoring, active fire suppression, and explosion-relief design, a multi-layered safety framework is established. The system can operate reliably in ambient temperatures ranging from -40°C to 55°C.

● Modular architecture for easy expansion and operation & maintenance

Supports parallel connection of multiple cabinets, enabling flexible capacity expansion. Module-level maintenance design effectively enhances power plant availability.

● Optimize power quality and enhance grid-connection compatibility

The system features harmonic mitigation and reactive power compensation capabilities, improving power quality and facilitating smooth grid-connection acceptance testing.

Leveraging Guangzhou’s time-of-use electricity pricing policy and a “two-charge, two-discharge” operating strategy, the project delivers stable financial returns: annual comprehensive revenue exceeds RMB 300,000, with average daily arbitrage profits of approximately RMB 1,500. During a power outage, the system can swiftly switch to backup power, ensuring continuous operation of critical equipment and reducing the risk of production downtime. As a provider specializing in industrial and commercial energy storage solutions, Zhongke Huachu continuously supports manufacturing enterprises in achieving cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and energy-use upgrades through safe and reliable system architectures, mature grid-connection technologies, and clear, actionable revenue models. Looking ahead, Zhongke Huachu will continue to deepen its focus on industrial and commercial energy storage applications, helping more enterprises build stable, efficient, and sustainable energy infrastructure.
