Sun Hui, Safety Director of TechHy Hydrogen Energy Testing, attended the conference and delivered a speech. He stated:
In addition to the prominent cost challenges, the hydrogen energy industry is also grappling with safety concerns. Currently, many governments and enterprises lack a clear understanding of hydrogen energy, leading to a knee-jerk aversion whenever hydrogen is mentioned. Safety practices are well-established in the chemical industry, whereas the hydrogen energy sector remains relatively underdeveloped in this regard. Stakeholders in the hydrogen sector still need to enhance both their awareness of hydrogen safety and their safety management capabilities. When focusing on hydrogen safety applications, the goal is not merely to ensure that the electrolyzer operates safely and reliably without the risk of explosion. Instead, we aim to provide customers with a comprehensive solution that guarantees the safety of the entire system, including the hydrogen supply infrastructure. Furthermore, we collaborate with engineering design institutes from the design stage to offer sound, practical recommendations.
