as the salt cavern compressed air energy storage project with the largest single unit power, the largest total capacity and the highest comprehensive efficiency at present, the rotor of the turbine generator of unit 2 this time is 14.32 meters in length and weighs 76.2 tons. air cooling technology is adopted, which is difficult to operate, complicated to process, high in precision and high in risk. the fitting process requires coordination of multiple types of work. As a key component of high-speed rotation, the core function is to convert the high-pressure air potential energy stored in the underground kilometer salt cave into stable electric energy efficiently through the principle of electromagnetic induction, which directly determines the power generation efficiency, operation stability and the overall benefit of energy conversion of the unit.

in order to ensure the successful installation of the generator rotor at one time, the owner unit and the project department attach great importance to it and scientifically organize it. they have set up a command group to carefully plan the construction scheme and organize the owner, manufacturer, supervisor, project department and other units to carry out discussion and desktop deduction. Before the rotor threading operation, the stator and rotor cleaning inspection, lifting facilities inspection and special safety technical disclosure shall be fully completed, clarify the division of labor and standard requirements, and build up the double guarantee of safety technology; In the field operation, all the construction personnel have an orderly division of labor and close coordination, strictly follow the technical process of dressing, monitor the levelness of the rotor in the whole process, accurately control the penetration amount and central position, and ensure accurate dressing. The rotor moves forward smoothly in the limited space through the electric hoist and slider, and under the mutual coordination and active cooperation among various specialties, it is placed on the bearings at both ends of the generator smoothly, and all installation indexes meet the design requirements. The whole fitting process is safe, smooth and efficient, realizing "zero bump, zero deviation and one success", which has been well received. This marks the completion of the installation of key nodes of the core equipment of the unit, creating favorable conditions for subsequent shaft alignment, trial operation and grid-connected power generation.

It is reported that after the completion of the project, one charge can store 2.8 million kilowatt-hours of electricity, and it is expected to charge and discharge 330 times a year. It can save 270000 tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 520000 tons. It will become an important support for regional comprehensive energy supply and provide key support for the construction of a new power system under China's "double carbon" goal.
