For the thirteen consecutive years, Tianhe Solar has been invited to attend the Boao Forum for Asia. Gao Haichun advocates deepening China-Australia energy cooperation and reconstructing energy value in the AI era.

The 2026 annual meeting of the Boao Forum for Asia opened as scheduled. Gao Haichun, co-chairman of SkyTeam, was invited to attend. At the same time, SkyTeam was invited to participate in the Boao Forum for Asia for 13 consecutive years. On March 25, Gao Haizhong pointed out in the Sino-Australian Entrepreneur Dialogue that in the AI era, the value of energy is being reconstructed, and called on China and Australia to deepen cooperation in the green transformation, from traditional commodity trade to a new scenario of systematic co-construction and "energy computing power.

Gao Haichun pointed out that the current global economic and trade pattern is undergoing profound changes in two underlying logics: first, artificial intelligence is fundamentally changing the production logic, computing power is becoming the key productivity, and behind computing power is electricity, stable, low-cost and clean energy will become the basic competitiveness of the AI era; Second, geopolitics affects energy security, all countries are accelerating from relying on a single energy source to an independent energy system with renewable energy as the core.

the two logics are superimposed, and energy is redefined. in the past, labor was scarce, but now stable energy computing power is more scarce. In the past, there were more resource countries, manufacturing countries and consumer countries, but the future may be energy nodes, computing power nodes and scene nodes. the global economic and trade logic and industrial division of labor are changing.

Under this new pattern, China-Australia energy cooperation is deepening. Gao Haichun believes that Australia has high-quality renewable energy endowments and mineral resources, while China has the world's leading manufacturing capabilities, deployment capabilities and system integration capabilities, and the advantages of both parties are highly complementary.

Gao Haichun pointed out that as the world's leading overall solution provider for photovoltaic energy storage and smart energy, Tianhe Solar looks forward to deepening cooperation with Australia and jointly promoting China-Australia green energy cooperation to a higher level.

First, from the trade of resources or commodities to the co-construction of the system. Tianhe Solar hopes to jointly build photovoltaic, energy storage, hydrogen energy and microgrid, zero-carbon park, etc. with local Australian enterprises to form in-depth cooperation from product output to solution landing.

Second, from energy cooperation to a new scenario of "new energy computing power. Australia has the combined advantages of energy, land, space and institutional environment, and has the potential to become an important computing center in the southern hemisphere and even the world, which requires the systematic support of energy, infrastructure, long-term capital and institutional systems, and the urgent need for the joint participation of global industry and capital.

Third, further deepen localization cooperation and break bottlenecks and barriers. We look forward to deepening local cooperation, especially in the field of energy and computing power, to break through policy constraints, bottlenecks and barriers, and provide integrated services for local production, manufacturing, solutions and operations.

During the Boao Forum for Asia, Gao Haichun will have in-depth exchanges with political, business and academic circles from China and Australia on issues such as regional economic cooperation, green transformation and energy security, so as to promote energy cooperation between China and Australia. Tianhe Solar has been deeply involved in Australia for many years and has built nearly 300MW of grid-connected new energy projects. It is developing energy storage and new energy projects with a scale of over 10GWh and shipping 750MWh of energy storage products. Last year, it signed a 5GWh energy storage supply agreement with Australia. The total investment of Victoria's optical storage integration project exceeds 0.45 billion Australian dollars, which can effectively improve the stability of local power, to help China and Australia green low-carbon and computing industry collaborative development.
