On the afternoon of March 23, 2026, in Huyi District, Xi'an, Xi'an Solar Energy Society participated in a popular science lecture held by Xi'an Hui'an Middle School with the theme of "Exploring Scientific Mysteries and Igniting Innovative Dreams. Among them, the special lecture "sunshine driving force, Mars exploration trip" delivered by Cheng Ke, chairman of Xi'an solar energy society, took the solar energy technology in deep space exploration as the breakthrough point, and unveiled the mystery of interstellar energy for teachers and students. The on-site interaction was enthusiastic and the response was enthusiastic.

The popular science lecture focuses on the core context of "How humans use sunlight to go to deep space" and systematically explains the core role of solar energy technology in Mars exploration. Combined with the latest achievements of China's "Tianwen" series of missions and international Mars exploration, this paper deeply analyzes the innovative application of photoelectric and photothermal technology by the Mars rover "Zhu Rong". Through vivid animation demonstration and intuitive data comparison, it clearly shows how the Mars helicopter "wit" completed the first extrrestrial flight feat in human history by virtue of lightweight solar energy device.

During the interactive session, the students actively participated and focused on three key scientific questions: "What are the energy similarities between solar street lights and rover?" "What are the main factors affecting solar power generation?" and "What are the other areas where solar technology can be used in aviation?". Students shared insights and answered each of these scientific questions of concern through live discussions. The whole session is full of exploration and speculation. Through interactive communication, the students further consolidate their knowledge and stimulate their interest in the future development of science and technology.
Through this immersive popular science experience, the students personally participated in interactive experiments and simulation scenes, and deeply felt the charm and fun of science in the exploration. Not only quietly planted the seeds of scientific exploration in their hearts, stimulated their curiosity and thirst for knowledge about the unknown world, but also guided them to think and operate actively through practical links, so as to effectively cultivate the ability to analyze problems and innovate solutions.
