the project team insists on taking scientific and technological innovation as the engine, relying on the support of the company team, joining hands with the top expert team in the industry, through technical optimization and economic evaluation, the original "steel sheet pile cofferdam" scheme is decisively changed to the "steel trestle locking steel pipe pile cofferdam" scheme, which skillfully combines the stronger locking tightness and bending and shear resistance of steel trestle and steel pipe pile in deep water and complex strata, the overall performance of the cofferdam structure is improved while improving the construction adaptability and optimizing the comprehensive cost.

during the construction process, the project team innovated and adopted the rotary drilling rig technology, successfully overcoming the restriction of underwater boulders on the lead holes of steel pipe piles, strictly controlling the safety risks of water-facing operations, dynamically monitoring the weld quality of steel pipe pile structure, bolt tightness and pile verticality, and building a strong safety and quality defense line. As the project is located in the Qingjiang River Water Source Protection Zone, the project team uses the floating sewage curtain set up during the construction of the earth-rock cofferdam to separate the operation water area and the external water area, so as to realize the coordinated development of the project construction and ecological protection.

up to now, the excavation and support of the first floor of the main power house of the reservoir under the Changyang Qingjiang pumping and storage project has been completed, and the second floor pre-cracking excavation and top active protection net installation are being carried out. The excavation and support of the upper section of the water diversion of the upper reservoir have been completed, and the reservoir basin has been backfilled to elevation E466.
