Zaozhuang Shanting Pumped Storage Power Station is a key project in the "14th Five-Year Plan" energy plan of Shandong Province. After the completion of the power station, it is expected to be able to eliminate about 2.6 billion kilowatt-hours of green power per year and generate nearly 2 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity per year. It will effectively improve the utilization efficiency of intermittent renewable energy such as wind power and photovoltaic, and solve the problem of new energy consumption.
