Australian mining giant Fortis Hill has pledged more than $7 billion to Chinese green technology companies. The company signed agreements worth more than US $1 billion with Xugong Group, and signed contracts with BYD, Longi Green Energy and Vision Energy totaling US $6.2 billion.
This strategic investment aims to accelerate the decarbonization of its business operations with advanced renewable energy solutions and electrical machinery.
In an interview with CGTN reporter Holly, Dino Otranto, co-CEO of Fortis Hill, said that China's clean technology is essential to achieve the company's net zero emission goal.
