BPCL Joint Venture Won Green Hydrogen Supply Contract to Help Refinery Decarbonization

NeuEN Green Energy Pvt. Ltd. (NeuEN Green Energy Pvt. Ltd.) is a 50% joint venture between Bharat Petroleum Company (BPCL) and Shengke Green Hydrogen Energy India Limited (Sembcorp Green Hydrogen India Pvt Ltd.). It has signed a contract with Numaligarh Refining Company Limited (NRL) to supply 10000 tons of green hydrogen (10KTPA) per year.

According to the company's statement, under the terms of the contract, NeuEN will develop a green hydrogen production facility at the NRL refinery in Assam, supported by a long-term off-take agreement.
