Huaneng Jingshun Yecheng Energy Storage Power Station provides virtual inertia and short-circuit capacity for the power grid through grid-type control technology, effectively solves the contradiction between regional power supply and demand, and provides a solid and reliable power guarantee for Kashgar's economic growth. The power station adopts the self-synchronous operation technology of virtual synchronous machine and power grid, which has the functions of inertia support and primary frequency modulation, and significantly improves the system stability. At the same time, it is equipped with a full-scene energy management system to realize the efficient operation and maintenance technology of "few inspection, unattended, and fault self-healing", with an effective utilization rate of 99.9 percent.

The power station design takes into account efficiency and environmental protection, and adopts modular standardized energy storage units to support rapid deployment and expansion. The commissioning of the project has greatly improved the peak shaving and supply capacity of the southern Xinjiang power grid. After it is put into operation, 0.25 billion kWh of peak-shaving green electricity can be added every year, which is equivalent to meeting the annual electricity demand of 120000 households, effectively solving the problem of "difficulty in consumption" of new energy, effectively reducing the high rate of light and wind abandonment of new energy in southern Xinjiang, and laying the foundation for the subsequent development and construction of large-scale new energy projects in Yecheng County.
