On December 25, the concrete pouring of the volute layer of Unit 1 of the Flat Original Pumped Storage Power Station was successfully completed, marking significant progress in the construction of the project.

the seat ring volute is the core component of the hydro-generator unit, and the pouring quality of its outsourcing concrete is directly related to the stability, safety and power generation efficiency of the unit operation. The total amount of concrete pouring for the volute is about 650 cubic meters, which is divided into two warehouses. Before construction, Pingzhu Company organized all parties participating in the construction to carry out joint acceptance and special technical disclosure to ensure that the plan is put in place. In the pouring process, the outer hanging tank and the inner sky pump are used to work together, and the pouring is balanced and symmetrical according to four areas. The pouring rising speed is strictly controlled within 0.3 meters per hour to effectively control structural stress and deformation. The pouring concrete shall be vibrated and strengthened in the whole process on site to ensure that the key parts such as the female angle of the volute are filled tightly. Real-time monitoring shows that the concrete temperature and displacement monitoring data meet the design requirements, and the pouring quality meets the excellent standard.
