The whole process of project construction implements the concept of ecological protection, and strictly implements special measures such as topsoil stripping and preservation, vegetation avoidance and restoration, and soil and water conservation. The project actively explores the model of "on-board power generation and under-board restoration", and carries out suitable vegetation planting in the middle of the photovoltaic array to promote soil solidification and ecological restoration. In addition, through land leasing and exploring "photovoltaic animal husbandry" and other models, a long-term income mechanism for local herdsmen has been formed, and the coordinated promotion of ecological protection and local economic development has been realized.

It is reported that after the full capacity of the project is connected to the grid, the annual power generation is expected to reach 1.26 billion kWh, which is equivalent to saving 385000 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 1.048 million tons.
